PosiMotion’s G-Fi and G-Fi VS

Two hot products ready to make a stir in the world of iPhone accessories.

The G-Fi comes in two versions: the G-Fi and the G-Fi VS. Any application that utilizes PosiMotion's soon-to-be-released API will be able to access the GPS data when connected to the G-Fi, and in turn display GPS coordinates and data with no connection to the Internet.

The G-Fi is capable of enabling wireless gaming and file sharing between any WiFi enabled device and also has a military-precision GPS receiver built in. The G-Fi was developed to bring a wireless GPS solution to all iPod touch models and first generation iPhones. There are other dock-based solutions, but G-Fi brings you mobile and wireless GPS functionality without the need for a power source or attachment. This is a huge advantage of the G-Fi over other GPS “car-kits”. The G-Fi can go with you when you leave the car. A car kit will surely guide your iPod to the mountain, but will be useless on the trails. PosiMotion is working closely with other developers and soon many location based apps will be able to access the G-Fi data.

The G-Fi VS is a mobile Gaming Hub. As stated by PosiMotion’s President, Olivier Hennessey, “you can have a WiFi multiplayer game in the desert”. This device allows over 200 WiFi devices to share data and to transmit and receive gaming data with no latency. The device does not connect you to the Internet; it connects you securely to other iPod touches and iPhones. The G-Fi VS has also been implemented as a secure file transfer hub within an office for complete safety from the perils of hackers.

These devices are designed on the leading edge of mobile technology with high quality, lightweight construction. They are smaller than the iPhone/iPod touch and easily fit in your other pocket! Many sites have reviewed and featured these products including CNET and TUAW.

The G-Fi is now on sale for $99 and the G-Fi VS is on sale for $49, and both are available at www.posimotion.com. Go mobile and get yours today!

The app was also detailed on Edmunds.com in the article, "Cool iPhone Car Applications". The app also appeared in a CNBC special called "The Mind of Google" around the 32 minute-mark. The special was viewed by millions.
